CINEOKA

Cineoka is a project that brings environmental and indigenous preservation issues from the Northeast: its ethno stories, customs, legends ... showing films related to these themes.

We are a family owned and operated business.

The objective is to value, disseminate and strengthen indigenous identities by presenting short, medium and feature films about the experiences of the peoples here in our state and also in other states in Brazil, in addition to dialoguing on issues involving the environment: the great threats that decimate ecosystems and their preservations.

We are a family owned and operated business.

Featuring stories about the Potiguaras Tupinambá, Xucuru and other communities, the exhibition of the films facilitates the understanding of the realities and particularities, aiding the understanding of told and untold versions of indigenous history in Brazil, the presence of indigenous languages in Brazilian Portuguese.
